- You will need a copy of your bankruptcy schedules to do some of the lessons. Those are the documents included in your bankruptcy petition that specify debts, income, and assets. You should already have a copy. If not, you can get these from your lawyer, or the Secretary of bankruptcy for a small fee.
- This course will take approximately 4-5 hours to complete. It is advised to take the course in multiple sessions, completing a lesson or two in each session.
- The course requires you to go through the lessons in the order they are presented. Lessons average about 22 minutes each.
- Each lesson has controls pause / play / volume.
- If you close a lesson before finishing, you will be required to begin the lesson again from the beginning.
- The learning management system will remember the lessons you have completed and always be directed to the following required lesson.
- A printer is highly recommended to print the worksheets, activities, brochures and other documents. You will be given the option to download the necessary forms at the beginning of each lesson or you can print as directed for each lesson. The downloaded files are for you to keep.
- After the Guidance and Lessons 1-10 that will be a competition to win the certificate to be presented in court. You are required to score at least 70% in the questionnaire. You can have multiple attempts to successfully pass the exam.
- After completing the course, a certificate will be issued by the course provider and presented to the Secretary of bankruptcy in your case. A copy will be sent by email.

Chrome (of Google) RECOMMENDED!
This browser Google is constantly updated and has very good support for HTML5 and is available for Mac OS X, Windows and Linux.
Safari will need to have Flash enabled otherwise you will have audio but no video. How to Enable Flash.
Apple Safari 5 was released in April 2010 and is available for Mac OS X and Windows. It has excellent support for HTML5.
Internet Explorer (Microsoft) or the Windows 10 version, Microsoft Edge
IE10 or its replacement Microsoft Edge are recommended to support more comprehensive web standards and best browsing experience. IE8 and earlier generally does not meet today's standards and includes many security vulnerabilities. Internet Explorer comes preinstalled on all Windows operating systems. Always keep your IE browser updated.
Firefox (Mozilla Corporation) NOT recommended.
This browser is lightweight and has excellent standards support. It is the natural successor to the family of the Netscape browsers. Available for Mac OS X, Windows and Linux. But, it has always been a little shaky when it comes to embedded MP4 and Flash video which our site uses extensively. You can try it. If you have problems, use the built-in browser that came with your operating system (Windows or Mac) or download another free one for the purpose of using the is robust website's content.
Opera (Opera Software)
The latest version of Opera browser has the support of excellent standards. Originally an allowance for the browser, was free with version 8.5. It is available in Mac OS X, Windows XP and above and Linux.

NOTE: Windows XP is no longer supported by Microsoft.
If you are using Windows XP, your computer is extremely vulnerable to viruses and security problems. It also does not work well with current online technology.
Although this course can be seen on a mobile device like a smartphone or tablet, it is not recommended. Much of the detail in the lessons is lost. For this reason, a larger display screen is recommended. iPads and other tablets don't work well with a course as robust as this one. Desktop computers and laptops provide a much more satisfying experience of learning.
You will need speakers or headphones to listen to the video clips and narration of the course.

If your browser is Mozilla Firefox , and popups blocked, you will see an alert at the top of the browser window and a small icon on the right side of the URL field as shown above.
To specify which web sites are allowed to open pop-up windows, select " Tools> Options> ' and click the Exceptions ... button to the right of Block pop-up window box. Type the exact address of the site you want and click Allow .
If your browser is Google Chrome , and popups blocked (which is the default configuration Chrome), a small icon will appear on the right side of the URL field as shown above. Click the icon to see the pop-ups that have been blocked or to manage pop-up settings for the site.
